Mr Brankov has now retired and is no longer seeing patients.
Mr. Brankov qualified as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1988 at the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina with the Board for Orthopaedic Surgery Yugoslavia.
He migrated to Australia with his wife and two daughters in 1994.
Mr. Brankov was registered as a doctor in Australia in 1996 and completed an allograft fellowship for two years under the guidance of Professor David Wood.
For several years he worked as a senior orthopaedic registrar at Princess Margaret Hospital. He did his orthopaedic training in Perth and become a Fellow of the Australian Collage of Surgeons in 2010.
Dr. Brankov currently works at Fremantle Hospital, Rockingham General Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital and St John Of God Murdoch Hospital.

He has specialised and trained in the Ilizarov technique for complex bone deformities and bone infections.
Interests
His interests outside of orthopaedics include, tennis, fishing and spending time with his wife Mela, and their beautiful daughters and grandchildren.
